This custom home, built in 1996 of off-white plaster and field stone, had seven heating and air conditioning systems installed originally. However, these HVAC systems leaked, dripping through ceilings and walls and damaging an interior collection of American antiquities and 15th- and 16th-century tapestries and rugs. Multiple HVAC contractors were hired by the clients with no resolution to the problems.
Schneider’s investigation revealed multiple piping and wiring issues that could have resulted in additional major property loss. Schneider’s developed a plan to correct the matter, replacing five of the seven systems and giving the clients a safe and comfortable home environment.
